This is a 156hour program, combining 91 hours in nursing assistant, 61 hours in EKG training, and 4 hours in BLS/CPR training.  The nursing assistant meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30-8:30pm, and Saturdays 8-4pm, Jan 20 - March 1.  This includes 49 hours of classroom and lab skills followed by 42 hours of clinical time.   EKG will meet beginning 1/21 - 3/2on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-3pm.  The EKG class requires a book and caliper and electrodes which are available in the Campus bookstsore, approx $139. 

 For nursing assistant portion you will need one uniform, books and cpr mask, all of which are available in the Campus bookstore, approx $128. Students also need white, non-skid shoes for clinical days in the nursing assistant. class. Shoes not available in the bookstore and are purchased separately.  More information will be given at first class meeting.

All students are required to have a background (SLED) check $25 (information given at registration),.  All students are required to have 2 step PPD(TB test).  Bring results to class and give to instructor, information given at registration. SLED fees and Insurance are included in price of tuition.
